Role: We are looking for a Software Development Manager to take responsibility for product software development (SaMD) and support of our business software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, launch, and maintain high-quality, complaint and secure iOS and Android mobile medical device applications on App Stores.
  • Work closely with contracted software development teams to deliver new products, providing direction and management to projects.
  • Ensuring high quality and timely delivery of software releases.
  • Support Microsoft Azure cloud databases and applications.
  • Take a lead role building company software development capabilities and IT processes.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Have a track record of delivering medical device, digital health Apps deployed on mobile devices which are used to control other medical devices.
  • Familiarity with FDA/MDR/UK MDR medical device software regulation is essential including applicable standards such as ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IEC 62304, IEC 82304, and IEC 62366.
  • Deep understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and best practices in the medical device Industry.
  • Familiarity with UK/EU and US data protection regulations and experienced in cybersecurity standards for health software and IT systems.

Job Description:

We are seeking an Electronics Development and Production Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a key role helping to bring our transformational and innovate wearable electronics products to market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support electronics engineering, design transfer NPI activities and provide ongoing product lifecycle electronics support.
  • Management of electronic CAD/production data within the company.
  • Work closely with design agencies and manufacturing partners to bring products to market and ensure high quality production.
  • Develop production test processes for new product assembly where required.
  • Support product validation and verification testing, including electronics assembly/test and production processes.
  • Building up, electronics testing and inspection capabilities within the company.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • A degree in electronics engineering or a minimum of 3 years working in an electronics design/production/assembly role in the medical industry, or other highly regulated industry.
  • Experience of electronics production best practice and standards
  • Experience in medical device design standards and regulations is desirable.
  • Proficient in the use of electronics test equipment with excellent, inspection and fault-finding skills.
  • Experience working to standards, relating to electronics design, production and testing including EMC.
  • Excellent collaborative and communication skills
  • Quality-focused mindset.
  • Experience with Altium CAD, and PCB electronics assembly and production methods.
  • Experience with design change control processes operating within an ISO13485 quality Management System.

Job Description:

We are seeking a Post Design Development Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting product development, NPI activities, supporting and liaising with engineering partners and contract manufacturers. This will include managing technical documentation and maintaining our engineering data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support engineers and contract engineers in mechanical engineering.
  • Create and manage product and production technical documentation.
  • Maintain the company’s engineering data, within a ISO13495 QMS.
  • Have responsibility for engineering drawings (BS 8888) and technical documentation, reports relating to technical files for medical devices.
  • Work collaboratively with contracted design agencies and contract manufacturing partners.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • A mechanical Engineering degree with a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in the medical device Industry.
  • Experience with SolidWorks or similar state-of-the-art CAD solutions.
  • Product data management experience is preferred.
  • A keen eye for detail and quality-focused mindset.
  • Understanding of the importance of medical device quality management systems.
  • Experience with design change control processes in medical devices within ISO13485.
